State Health Operations Centre

WHAT WE
DID

Brief

Key health emergency services operating 24/7 have come together under one roof in the State Health Operations Centre (SHOC) with components from the Department of Health, WA Country Health Service Command Centre, Royal Flying Doctor Service, St John WA, and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, in this fit-for-purpose facility in the heart of Perth.

Cablewise AV was engaged by OPRA projects to deliver multiple different type meeting spaces across levels 3 & 10 for the Department of Health’s newly commissioned State Health Operations Centre (SHOC). This included small to large Poly VC meeting rooms and video walls, used for situational awareness and will be used to display up to four (4) individual video sources as well as the capability to display any of the individual sources across the whole screen to ensure all critical services were met to support a 24/7 operation centre.

A unique Desk Light system was delivered to provide situational awareness to tenant’s staff on when a local end user operator needs additional support and will be communicated via visual aids from both desk mounted equipment and a portal interface.

You can read the full case study on our group website here, where we dive deeper into the operation and outline the outcomes achieved across the entire Cablewise Group.
